One of the things I like best about Wild Nevada is the wild (feral) horses that roam in parts of the state. We have a lot of beautiful wildlife here and incredible mountains and trails. Right here in Washoe Valley, we have packs of horses that will roam and cover the distance between here and Washoe Lake. Each season there are cute new baby horses in the group and this season I was able to capture this young white horse grazing on the mountainside with their pack. January 2024
