Ed Smith was one of the most laid-back and chill people I have ever met. We met in college at Auburn and one day we asked if we could bury him in the volleyball court and with a cigarette pursed casually between his lips, he just said “Sure”.
It looks like I was always down to clown on the microphone. Not an early karaoke performance, but instead getting my classmates hyped up for high school graduation. This was 1991.
