We all piled into two flat-bottom boats and rode for a dozen or more miles down this tributary of the Amazon River. It was probably the most undeveloped place I had ever visited and it was fabulous. We’re on our way to Tambopata Ecolodge.

In order to get to the many places we planned to visit in Peru, we often spent a good amount of time on busses getting from place to place. Since we couldn’t always stop to get the right photo, a few of them came out like this — a view thru the windshield.
