After we left Lima and headed in-land, the environment became more green and lush. The Amazon River has many tributaries that run thru Peru and we were headed to a four-hour boat ride towards Tambopata Ecolodge.

Lima Peru Pacific Coast Fog
This whole city was lush and green with lots of garden spaces. The overlapping Pacific Ocean fog added an element of mystery while floating thru the city.

Out of the thousands of photos I have taken and edited, I always have “favorites”. This is one of my favorites from the entire Peru trip. In this particular instance, the color pop setting worked out perfectly in my favor because it made every part of this image pop.
